Hi, I'm Steven Robinson,
Most woodworkers start at the lumberyard; I started in the forest. From grading lumber at a sawmill to studying Forest Technology at Paul Smith’s College, I’ve spent my career learning every nuance of wood—its scent, its grain, and its structural soul.
At the Vermont Woodworking School, I turned that technical depth into a passion for fine furniture. Today, I can handle every step of the process: felling the tree, milling the boards, and executing a spectacular build.
When you commission a piece from me, you’re getting more than a furniture maker—you’re getting a craftsman who knows his material from the inside out.
