Gunstock for one of my rifles, model 700 Remington .270. Started from scratch from a piece of curly soft maple that had been seasoned for 10 plus years. All inletting was done by hand with inletting black. The stock is custom to my build. I didn't get too carried away with it but the butt of the stock has a 5 degree toe out to fit my shoulder, and the length of pull is for my build.
For the finish I used a stain that I liked with many, many hand rub coats of Danish oil and tru oil, and finally buffed with wax to repel water. Here is a brief photo documentary...

How about a 26' x 12', 3" thick black walnut bar top. Four sections with butterfly detail in each mitered corner. Each section weighing approximately 600 Lbs.
